Altus signs agreement with Crevis to distribute Nexto technology in South Korea
Once again, Altus crosses borders and reaches new territories. After signing a cooperation agreement for the distribution of Nexto Series Programmable Controllers in India, now, the company makes official a new partnership to increase the diffusion of the Brazilian Technology into the Asian continent. From 2017, Crevis, South Korean manufacturer, specialized on the development of equipment for industrial networks and distributed systems, will be Altus’ strongest link in both South Korean market.
Largest I/O supplier in that territory, Crevis is very strong on distributed automation systems in the following segments: machine manufactures, infrastructure, sanitation, automotive and transformation industry. By adding Nexto to its portfolio, the company will have an alternative for systems with redundancy and high availability, which will enable the deployment of complete solutions for large high complexity applications. Furthermore, since last year, Nexto Series programmable controllers hold the DNV-GL certification, which enables their use in marine applications, segment in which Crevis possess large installed base.
Immersion in Altus technology
In November, Mr. Felipe Zanon, who is part of Altus R&D specialists’ team, was in South Korea to give practical training to Crevis technical team as well as some customers, at the company’s headquarters. In addition to improving the mastery of technology and getting qualifications on programming, operation and basic maintenance of Nexto products, the participants also received advanced training to the use of redundancy features, as well as Nexto Safety equipments, which is the series functional safety solution.
